Yes it is possible for an adult to catch chicken pox if they never got them when they were younger. I believe its very difficult to get rid of them as an adult.

Yes, they can! As an adult who has never had chicken pox myself, I've had this discussion with my doctor since I do have a young child. My doctor made me have a simple blood test just to make sure that I had never had as a child which he said was unusual, and sure enough I'd never had it! He strongly recommended I get vaccinated, but most doctors do not carry the adult vaccination. I had to call the health department in my county to have them order it, the cost was $150! It doesn't mean I won't get it, but it will be less severe if I do, which is the same story for kids too.

My daughter had just got the Chicken Pox and her first blisters started to appear a few days ago, even though she has already received the vaccine before. I was very worried, as everyday more and more blisters appear. I think I had counted at least 50 blisters on her.

Luckily another mother had recommended me this Fast Chicken Pox Cure book on a parenting forum and I decided to try it out. I have been extremely pleased by the results as my daughters symptoms, mainly blisters, had begun to fade soon after as this book described. The first thing I noticed was she was feeling better and more energetic. And then the blisters started to scab and dry up, which was great because she wasn't itchy after that.

At last all her blisters shed off from her skin and healed up... all in probably less than 3 days!

Begin to cure the Chicken Pox immediately?

Yes, an adult can "catch" chicken pox. In fact men who are infected for the first time as an adult with the virus are twice as likely to die from the virus as women. Also the virus can sometimes cause infertility in males. If you contracted chickenpox virus( varicella-zoster) as a child you can not be reinfected as an adult. However, only those who have had chickenpox can be affected by the shingles virus. Herpes, shingles, and chickenpox are all members of the same nasty virus family that never leaves your body, even after symptoms have disappeared. After infected with chickenpox the virus lays dormant in the nerve cells of the body and because of conditions, i.e. suppressed immune system, can reemerge as another painful rash.

Yes if you did not get a vaccine as a child nor did you get chicken pox then you can get a chicken pox as an adult.

I got chicken pox as an adult after being exposed to someone with shingles . I was rarely ill as a child and haven't had any of the usual childhood diseases not even when my children had them. There is the chance you have built a natural immunity . if you are not immune then i think it will depend on how you are exposed to it and for how long .

Yes, but it can be deadly if an adult gets it. If you never got it during your childhood then you are open to getting it while your older. Once you get it, you can't get it again.
