I would suggest to you to call your vet and make a appt with them. It could be something serious or might not be anything but it is better to have peace of mind knowing you have a healthy cat. Good luck to you and your kitty!

You don't say whether your cat is male or female. For instance, if female, are you SURE it's her butt? She may be getting ready to go into heat. Regardless, I'd waste no time going to see a vet. It could be serious, or not, but it's always, always best to know for sure.
