Start with a cold frypan. Put 5-6 slices in the frypan. Turn the stove element on to medium. Fry on one side for 4-5 min and turn over. Depending on how you like it will determine how long you fry it. I like it crisp so it takes longer.
The microwave is fine also and will give you very crisp bacon if you like it that way. Put the bacon slices side by side on a microwave proof plate. Cover the plate with paper towel first, then bacon, then more paper towels. Just check it every minute or so as microwave wattages vary.
Don't do it in the oven as it spatters everywhere and makes a mess.

Ok, don't listen to them. The absolute EASIEST way to cook bacon is put it on a cookie sheet and place in a pre-heated oven for about 10-12 minutes. If you decide to fry in a pan DON"T PUT OIL IN FIRST!!! The bacon contains enough fat that there is no need for oil. But seriously the oven is the cleanest, easiest way to go.

Always start your beacon in a cold pan. No extra oil is needed. Cook slow for 5 to 6 minutes, turn and cook that side.

ok, it doesn't get crispy when you put it in the microwave. Unless you like limp bacon, then go right ahead.
To make it in a pan, put the heat on med. to med. high (having it too high will cause it to splatter too much and it will burn you!). Just keep flipping it after it starts cooking so it won't get burnt and cook it until it's at the crispyness you want.
You don't need oil because as it is cooking, it has a lot of fat that comes out so it makes its own oil.

i put a napkin on a plate and put the bacon on the napkin one layer across, put it in the microwave at 30 second intervals ..... the napkin on the bottom catches the grease and a napkin on top to stop the splattering. mmmm... I will have two eggs over easy and homefries with that please!!!

easist way to cook is fry or grill.
put in a frying pan with a little oil.cook till crispy.
bad quality bacon has white stuff that comes out,due to the water content.
