What does a man expect from a woman...?

...in the way she treats him?
What satisfies him on the emotional aspect?

I'm asking this Reiko to be able to understand you better. I think that men in general expect honesty, love and loyalty.

The question you post requires culture biased answers. Men in on culture expect different things than men in another culture. I also believe every man's expectations are different. With this in mind I can only answer for myself and others like me. I expect a woman who is in a relationship with me to be herself. I believe that the beginning to having a successful partnership is to have successful individuals. I expect her to both be respectful and expect the same for herself. Basically I expect nothing more from her than i expect from myself. The traits I seek the most are openness, honesty, and loyalty. I prefer a confident and intelligent woman with a warm heart.

I agree with the answerer that said that men arent the same when coming from different cultures, but in general the basics are the same.
I should say that men expect loyalty, confidence, friendship (from the woman they love also), and above all love.

I don't expect anything from a woman, I believe a woman and a man should treat each other equally with respect and what satisfies me on an emotional level is equally communicating about our wants, thoughts, feelings, needs, fears, desires etc.

I have been very incredulous about men's feelings in the past so I can relate to you Shari, but I have learned from some decent guys that they expect from us basically the same we expect from them. Usually we expect more commitment though...
I would say what they most expect of us is support, believing in their capacities and attempts to succeed, either professionally or as a father/ spouse/person...being there by their side. My own husband has taught me this because he didn't get it from his first wife. And affection, of course, manifested in caring, loving and sharing!

Men aren't quite as complicated as women. I do think they expect to be treated as we do...with kindness, love and respect. Emotionally, less is best when it comes to drama and a confident woman who gives him his space is a big plus!

Men may not be keen to admit it because usually we struggle to express our feelings but for me I need warmth , affection , genuine caring ...all this can be summed up in the word love , the real foundational love not just the physical !
