I'm afraid of the unknown

I actually am not. I used to be, like most people, but I had a situation come up where there was only a split second for me to realize that I was going to die (obviously, it didn't happen), and to my amazement, there was no fear or anything like it. I was very calm about it when I had the realization, and since that day I haven't feared my own death.
It's the deaths of those I love which scare the hell out of me.

i actually believe that ther is no such thing as death and we just are now trapped in our materialistic bodies. which we will be released from when we 'die' and move on to other places, materialistic and spiratual worlds. so thus i have no fear for death is just an illusion that we create so we feel that we have an ending to come to. some ppl don't wanna face this idea and thus develop the fear of death...

Because its the unknown it scares the hell out of me knowing that we could just float around for ever and ever NO END EVER!!! think about that people allso what if there is such thing as heaven and hell and you go to hellt hats scary but its mainley the unkown to most peopel

Because leaving my family is a terrible thought knwing that you will never touch them again never smell them never talk to them again its is scary. Also the future you have ahead of you all the things you wanted to do will be gone you will never get the chance to do them again, or if there is someone you wanted to speak to you will never get the chance to it is sooooo sad.!!!!
