Having an avatar is just a way to hide your true identity and it also allows people to have multiple accounts. Personally I do not agree with either of these excuses. I use a photo as I have nothing to hide and only have this account. Getting any changes on here is impossible so I guess we all must accept that avatars are here to stay

There are a lot of weird obsessives who show serious mental health issues on here, especially the hate campaigners, the thought of an adult male who is obsessed with a Little girl they have never met to the detriment of their own life and family having an extra piece of the jigsaw to know who I am and where I live is frightening.

I'm sure Bob the Builder is actually a pencil pushing office dork, going bald, probably about 5' 2" with an inferiority complex. Oh, I forgot to mention, no woman either.

I don't think that people would be as honest with their opinions if they did. Being shy in real life means that the anonymity of an Internet site is an attractive prospect for me. If I had to put my photo up I doubt that I would be on here.....and I certainly wouldn't be admitting to strangers that I have piles if they could see what I look like.

Why do we need to prove who we are? I try and post honest replies and if other people don't then that's their problem. Showing my picture doesn't have anything to do with it.

eh. some people don't like to reveal the real them on the internet due to safety reasons. Even then, the pictures could be false. They could be using someone else's pic.

then the questions wouldnt be as honest. The point of this site is to ask any question. If people had to share there identity then you wouldnt see half as many people

Some are too scary that we may not want to see them. Do you want Osama bin Laden to show his real identity? You would not want to answer his questions. But believe me, this is my real picture.
