the significant enormous difference between this time round and previous occurences is bery basically that the Congress did not even placed abudget up for a vote earlier to at least a million Oct. different years have had CRA's yet that change into even as the budget change into getting worked on/debated and had no longer exceeded. i change into Sen Reed who made the remark that they would not paintings on the budget till after the elections because different subject matters had priority. i imagine it will be a legal requirement to bypass the budget earlier to the start of the commercial 12 months. the reason the federal economic 12 months change into replaced from startig a million July to putting out a million Oct lower back contained in the 1970's change into to furnish Congress time in the course of the summer to get the budget exceeded and end having CRA's. What it somewhat did change into basically enable them to placed it on a lower back burner for 3 months. It change into the Democrats who managed Congress earlier to the November elections and it change right into a gloomy performance that they did not do some thing till the FY change into over 1 / 4 of how finished. you may not blame the Republicans for that because that no bill change into ever even proposed by ability of the President or Congress. They were better in contact with reelection and with getting classes exceeded/all started they knew would not bypass after the election then some thing else. As suggested the different lengthy CRA's were no longer in accordance to initial expenditures yet were because vetoes or lack of votes to bypass the budget and not in any respect because the budget change into not in any respect a prioprity to vote on. The cuts the heartless Republicans are making are a lot less severe then those proposed by ability of the bipartisen fee or maybe those better modest ameliorations are antagonistic by ability of the Democratic administration so "waiting to hearken to from the fee" isn't a valid reason as given by ability of yet another answer.

Dude, no -_-
That's almost slandering the democrats.
If democrats control the presidency and congress, that doesn't mean they kick out all the republicans. it just means that the democrats' opinions are more likely to be passed than those of the republicans as the democrats would represent more than half of congress, a majority needed to pass certain bills.

They will speak because there will be enough to do a filibuster in the Senate. Also, there are other media sources to get the message out.

The democrats will do something stupid, and Newt will plan the 2010 elections victory.

Hope not!!! The democrats have been suppressed for 8 long, warmongered years and now it's our turn to make the U.S. a better place, the great place it was during the Clinton era! Can't wait!

i see absolutely no reason why the democrats should treat the repubs any differently than the repubs treated them when the repulsive party was in the majority.

Yes, Republican voices will be very important where appropiate. Nobody can make those animal sounds on children's toys as well as Republicans.

Republicans have used this type of rhetoric since the "red scare" of 1919. Getting old, but, at least you people are consistent in your own minds.
