My stand 'be';
1: Money is a means of survival, and as such the acquisition of money is a necessity to support your life, it is not the reason for your life.
2: People who are into making large sums of money are never satisfied with whatever income they have and never will be. They are the dog chasing the tail.
3: Proper English is essential for communications. What your stand be? Please! If you can't respect the language at least respect yourself.

It's not something to be proud of but it's the reality- money makes the world go round. Today it is valued very much and people without do not have the capacity to live. That is why people accumulate a lot of money... for them money is the only thing that can supplement their lives. People as imperfect beings do not know how to be satisfied. At first people accumulate money to make ends meet but as time goes by the money they earn becomes insufficient in their eyes so they earn more, forgetting about their primary purpose. In the end, money is all that matters for them. It's human nature, really.

If satisfaction is only based on external things then you will never actually be satisfied as externals are ever shifting. If you learn to be content with where you are and how you live with nothing, you aren't run by money when and if you come into it. Granted I am broke now, but I am satisfied to get by and know what I do helps others. If I ever actually get paid what my profession is worth, I would like to reinvest the money to people who are underpaid. So all in all I seek only a living that I know suports me and my loved ones, and that is enough. But I have certainly learned to be content in all things.

I am okay with comfortable. The endless pursuit of more money in the bank to go with the too much to spend in several lifetimes is somewhat ridiculous.

And I dont think that those who have that much do enough for the less fortunate of the world. Instead they encourage those who are already struggling to give up their hard-earned pennies.

Comfortable is the way to go.

God bless you.

NO - no stand necessary live and let live I coudl not be relatively comfortable if there were not driven souls out there who want to achieve and own and be better than.

I am quite content fo rthem to have whatever they want; even a dim view of me. Whilst they are out there obsessing they can call me what they want my peace is still intact.

Best thing is satisfaction.. Now you have to find out how much money can give you that. It is not necessary money only give you that without money or with less money you can get satisfaction.

Important is that you have to pass life with love & peace, i think you get it without money, with spirituality.

Thanks

I think it depends on how materialistic the person is. The statistics are really high on people who become addicts, commit suicide, enter rehab, ect. for people who are wealthy. I by no means would depend on being rich making you happy. Happiness comes from within and can be achived on either salery.

I think it is important to be happy wiith what you make of your life, and to love your family and be able to support them. Making lots of money won't make you happy.
