I find myself liking names where if someone else who has had that last name has been fabulous - famous or just a chum who I adore.
For me, its more about the associations than the sound. For instance, Bin Laden has a nice sound but awful associations so isn't beautiful, whereas Ghandi may be quite plain but the person who it makes me think of was amazing.
