I was recently in hospital and had to have two lumbar punctures. While getting the second one, I was sending text messages to my friend, telling her I had a needle in my back. The doctors said I was the only person they'd ever met who could send text messages during a lumbar puncture, most people would be screaming out in pain!

My sister (5) and I (9) were getting shots and I had to go in first because I was the big brother.
I was dreading it, but this medical technician was on her game. I straight up didn't feel any of the three shots. She was that good.
"You're done," she said. "That's it?" I asked. "Yes," she assured me.
I took a deep breath and yelled "ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH IT HURTS" and ran out into the waiting room, totally freaking my sister out.
It took three of them to get her in there.
