I went on a web site and keep getting advert pop ups on the same subject on the page I was viewing. These advert pop ups are a third party.

The third party is not You and Me but other people.

If Dale hit me and bloodied my nose (assault and battery)
and I did not report it - but called you

and you called the police to check me out to
make sure I was OK -

you would be the THIRD party in this - as neither the suspect - nor the victim (nor an eyewitness) called about it
