I'm planning a get together of around 20 18-21 year old college students and I am not sure what would be the best and simplest food to have. Do I order pizza or a hoagie platter or is there another option that would work better? No alcohol allowed.

A LOT of pizza seems to go a little way. You can never seem to order enough, and that sh*t's expensive, or Really bad.
A LITTLE hoagie seems to go a Loooooong way. Six feet of BREAD really hits bottom fast and it seems much cheaper.

Pizza is probably cheaper, but you can never go wrong with hoagies. The only problem I could see with a hoagie platter is that it tends to fall apart (lettuce falls out, etc.)
If your friends are somewhat neat and can keep their stuffings on a plate, go for the hoagies.
You can't lose either way. Happy eating!

Hoagies! Everyone always does pizza. Hoagies are more healthy! Do 3/4 turkey and the rest ham! Most everyone loves a turkey sandwich

Pizza - easier to eat, less expensive by far - call a local chain (like Domino's etc) because they generally do a special price on large orders. You'll want about 10 mediums and they'll do them for about $6 each with one topping. Get 3 cheese, 3 sausage, 4 pepperoni.
I order for groups all the time... college students eat more than 10 year olds and old wrinkly people like me (who has four college students - lol)

if possible have some of both, if not my vote is hoagies....EVERYONE has pizza, switch it up a bit with the hoagies and get some chips

I would say pizza because you can probably get more for your money. Remember that these are poor college students and they will appreciate anything that you provide, its free!

i can't think of anything better than pizza for a college party. keep it simple. everybody loves pizza.

Pizza; most people eat it. It's too hard to please a group of people when it comes to cold cuts. I don't like ham or salami, so I wouldn't eat a sandwich with that on it.
