Do you pick-up hitch hikers?

I do pick up old ladies and men who are carrying a lot of bags or if the weather is bad!!!

I think they are usually harmless!!!!

I stopped to pick up what looked like my neighbor once. Turns out it wasn't and I felt bad and told the guy to get in. I was lucky enough to drive behind a cop the whole way. I look more carefully now.

* I dont even have a car - and besides the bus in this country is really cheap 20c ( Malta) and we dont have hitch hikers , its a Really Small country and no where to go =p *

I used to, but not any more. I had a really scarey time with the last one I picked up, so never again.

Years ago, when I lived in Italy, I used to pick up students who could not afford their travel fees.

I never have. I always have a kinda-of urge though. What if I was in their shoes? Then I think...possible serial killer or drug addict in need of quick cash.
