I woke up early this morning and I turned on the radio, they was playing some old UGK and they said he passed away yesterday. I can't believe this! Big Moe passed away not to long ago and now Pim C, this must be a message or wake up call that God is sending us. R.I.P. to Pimp C! I now everyone in Houston who is a fan is heartbroken.

My thoughts on this are that yes its sad because UGK was one of the best rising rap groups in Houston but when I found out it really pissed me off. Its like dang he just got out of jail you think he would have been a little wiser this time and stayed away either from the drugs or bad people in his life. I hate to prejudge but with the way things are here in Houston I wouldnt be surprised if he ODed on some syrup, coc, & bars.
Sorry to say it but I'm just being real.

i certainly feel for people who have this type of loss and to answer your question yes, the rapper has passed, but if you truly think that everyone in Houston is heartbroken over someone that sings about and glorifys the seedy side of life, than it appears you have more serious issues afoot. i work with and see the effects of this music in society on a daily basis and if even Russell Simmons thinks its gone to far, perhaps you need to consider the view of the person that initially created it.
bottom line. anything that degrades women, talks about killing law enforcement and, again, glorifys the downside of life is not a plus to society, its a big big minus.
