No, they know Bush wouldn't fall for that.
They will wait until a Democrat is elected, and then assemble their bombs.
Enriched uranium is the important and hard-to-obtain component. They are working on that aspect.
Once you have the fuel, the rest is much, much easier.
I pray that America loves its cities more than it hates Bush, and doesn't let Iran nuke up just to spite him.

I'm beginning to wonder if Iran is doing the same thing Saddam was.
saddam wanted the world to believe he had WMD"S. It gave him great leverage amongst the middle east.Even his top generals were under the assumption they had them at there disposal.
If Iran pushes to a point then backs off this "Buys them valuable time". A tactic Saddam did for years as well as North Korea.
Make no mistake....Iran is still working towards nukes, North Korea is still producing them as well. The Clock Is Ticking.

I don't care to believe any intel coming out of the ME about Iran.
As far as I'm concerned, they have forewarned us about their intent for us so many times that to believe anything other than the obvious regarding Iran's desire to harm us would be remiss.
Ahmadinejad sends us a message any time he gets the chance.

Maybe, assuming they ever had such a program in the first place.
The main point of the current NIE is that half the substance of the last NIE was dead wrong.
Should we be surprised if the balance, presently, turns out to be BS as well?
No? What is the Bush administration's record where claims of such threats from abroad are concerned?

Of course, what better time than when everyone's guard is down. Everyone except the Israli's who are not so easily duped. How anyone can trust the leaders of Iran is beyond me...

The imperialist-minded U.S. ruling elite have a faction of the American people worried about the dangers of a rogue nuclear power that will go forth and attack the world. Yet it is obvious to most everyone that the rogue nuclear power that is attacking the world is the U.S.

"In other words, the UN agency (International Atomic Energy Agency) found no evidence that the nuclear weapons program the NIE now claims was in operation until 2003 ever existed."

Nations cannot create such programs in a vacuum. Bush and the media have everyone in such a militaristic fury, I'm sure "pundits" have already mentioned this as a justification to attack Iran. Such nonsense.
