I try to do a little good deed every day. If someone drops something at the grocery store I pick it up for them, etc. But the last good deed I did was with my daughters girl scout troop. We decorated a villa at a Children's village for very ill children. What we did is handpainted christmas ornaments and put them on a tree. I got the paint donated from a major paint company and the plain wood ornaments were very cheap. So I spent a little money but not much. We did it just to make a child and his family's christmas a little brighter.

I would help serve food to the homeless this Christmas, why?? Because I know what it is like to be "hard up" on money and no-one caring about you, I have so been there and people only cared about themselves, I once asked my ex-boss for a raise, and I lost my job, because I needed the raise to make ends meet, and she did not like it, she thought I was begging for money.

I had to move near my parents downstate for them to help me and put me back on my feet!!!

When I was younger, I worked in Detroit, at First Optometry, and everyone was rich and into themselves and shunned those of us who needed money, and it was just miserable!!!

I think they were all related, because they all had everything, the best of both worlds, and I did not, and they did not understand.

Now that the years have passed, I am living in a beautiful house, have a wonderful husband, live in one of the most beautiful cities by the bay in Upper Michigan, and my daughter goes to a wonderful school and she is beautiful!!!!!

I remember what the past was like for me, so when I see someone who needs help, I am not like the people who treated me like crap in Detroit, I help them out, unlike them, I know where I came from!!!!! Unlike them, I do not take things for granted!!!!!!

If they could see me now!!!!!!

I work full time but if I had time, I would call the local agency that handles meals on wheels and I would deliver hot food to people that are shut in. . .I would love to do this because the people that deliver those meals are sometimes the only people these shut-ins see all day. I love to think I would be making a difference in someones life./..

I would volunteer to help at the annual Christmas in the park for the homeless, disadvantaged and lonely people in our community. It is something my daughter and I have decided to do next year.

Wow how nice you all are. Thumbs up from me to you!
