I know it's out of date, but i was reading the News of the World last night in work.
I came across a bit that said, "do you think Jose Mourinho used Chelsea to get a better job?"

How would this be possible, at the time Mourinho was brought in they had the billionaire owner splashing the cash on players saying "if they are the right person for the job, price does not matter".
So Chelsea must have though he was the best man for the job, Right?
At the time, and now......that has to be one of the highest profile managers position going with a bottomless transfer fee's and world class players already there. how could he have used Chelsea? More like Chelsea used him.

Do you agree with my opinion or not?
and.......What are your thought's on Jose using Chelsea for a better job?

Thanks for your answers.

I read the Daily Mirror in work last night and it was said that Mourinho could be using the England job to big up his profile so that he can get a better club job, probably with AC Milan.
All the talk about him being next England manager may well just alert other clubs to the fact that he is, at present, unemployed. His agent however, has strongly denied that this is the case, but when have agents ever been known to tell it like it is?

Hope this helps.

I would die to manage Chelsea. It's a dream - a mega rich owner who will give you anything you want (as long as you play Shevchenko, of course), a squad of well - established and mega - talented players.

That sums up what I want to say in short.

Long answer:
Jose could NOT have used Chelsea. Like you said, they used him. Any manager who takes his team to the Champions league trophy is good for any coaching job, particularly with a team like Porto, who were not giants that time like Barcelona or Real Madrid. They used him to fill their trophy cabinet, then got rid of him once they reached a position from where Chelsea could go anywhere with any manager. After two league titles, Roman knew that Chelsea had reached that point. Bit by bit, Jose lost his control over team affairs (he didn't agree to Ballack and Andriy). His sacking was, by then, imminent.

Wait till he takes England to glory in the World Cup. That'll show 'em!

What better job is there, than a billionaire whos paying you buckets of cash, lets you buy whoever you want (at the start) and has an endless supply of money.

Its pure fantasy football.

Its just a shame they bought too many players, made some players rot and killed of by going defensive.

In my eyes, its one of the best jobs in the world. They should be dominating football.

Ever heard of the saying "You scratch my back and I will scratch yours?" Or the symbiotic relationship between a parasite and a host?

I can give you countless analogy. At the end of the day, Mourinho and Chelsea used each other.

I agree and I'll also add this:He's now using the England job to flush out interest from big clubs like Milan and Barcelona. If he'd really wanted to be England manager he would have made his intentions clearer.
