If Simple Simon said it, I'd HAVE to do it. But if some boffin from the institute of global warming studies said " switch off your computer ", I wouldn't do it because I wouldn't want to be out.

Besides, I switch off my computers, external hard drives and unplug my mobile phone chargers when not in use. And I only use low voltage or energy saving light bulbs. I replaced the three spotlights in my bedroom with LED versions that only use 1.2 watts each instead of the 50 watts they each used before! There's not the same amount of light but I only have to walk to the bed, so why have more?
