I love animated films. Not the over-complicated manga and anime stuff aimed at an adult market. I like a lot of the Disney movies. I love the simplicity and innocence of them. There's no dark underlying political message. They're mostly a couple of hours of pure fantasy and escapism. My favourite is, and has been since the first time I saw it when I was four years old, is Jungle Book :o)

Anastasia, The Lion King, Aladdin, Titan AE, and a few anime titles.
Personally I don't draw any line between an animated film and a live action film. I don't consider animation to be childish or cartoony unless it's intended to be so, and there are many live action movies that are childish and cartoony (Power Rangers). I've also seen some very mature and well-written animation that surpasses many live action movies in story and scope (Ghost in the Shell).

I like well-done animated films. The current crop of Pixar films are very well done and realistic and I have found them enjoyable.
The old Disney and Walter Lantz cartoons are also favorites of mine because they were popular when I was growing up.
Animation is commonly used in many movies we don't consider animated films, such as Titanic, Star Wars series, and others. It is an excellent tool when it is properly used.

I have 3 kids under 7 and i love watching animated films with them.. Shrek, Finding Nemo, The Simpsons Movie, Ice Age i enjoy watching them all... The reason i enjoy them is, not only are they funny and entertaining for the kids, most of them have a witty kinda humour that adults find funny as well

Hey. I'm only one person, of course, so I can't speak for all the people who like animated films, or answer for all their reasons, but I'm an adult who likes them. In some ways I like them for a sort of nostalgic quality they bring up for me--taking me back to simpler childhood or something like that. Another thing I like about them is how unrestricted they are in terms of story telling. Visually, nothing is really off limits. I like all kinds of live action films and my taste in animated movies is also really varied. My favorites are Spirited Away (Japanime), Beauty and the Beast (classic sweet Disney) and South Park (snarky, adult, and ironic.)

I do like animated films. They are really wonderful films bcz they make us to relax a lot and have some massage along with the comic version so i like and i suggest others also to view those movies
