Ironies in the movie crash?

Question

I've seen the movie a few times, but I'm not too familiar with all the characters to where I could answer this fully. The assignment is, "Watch the movie Crash, and list as many ironies as you can find." I've listed a few with one being where Ryan Phillipe ends up hitting and killing Don Cheadle's relative, but I need many more. If anyone could help, that would be great! thanks so much

Watch the movie again with that question in mind; the entire movie is a commentary on society's stereotypical assumptions about other people/cultures. Every stereotype is displayed and then artfully displaced as gangsters become heroes, heroes become killers, etc. it's not so much about characters as it is about the way people see other people who are not like them. the movie is a very powerful social commentary and i think that's what your teacher is asking you to see; the bigger picture of the irony between our own misinformed beliefs and the reality of other peoples lives.

One irony is the Iranian storekeeper and his daughter, who helps him buy a gun but makes sure his ammunition is blanks.

I found myself liking characters I thought I would dislike and disliking characters I thought I would like. The racist cop becomes an unselfish hero. The ex-gang member locksmith is a loving father who will do anything for his precious daughter.

When the storekeeper thinks he has shot the little girl and she turns out to be unharmed he calls it a miracle. In fact, the miracle is the love his own daughter has shown in protecting him.

I liked this movie very much. One of the few Hollywood products I've liked in recent years.

when the lady had the car accident that was the same officer man that safe her.when they stole the car and hit that man.that they to him to the hospital. remember the people they found in the back of the truck. and when the lady took her father to the gun store. she got blank bullets. remember when he shot at the guy and she daughter came run out of the house and jump in her father arm and the though that she was shot. the were blanks .please look at the movie again you will see them all.
