Australian beaches have more mass appeal as a whole, but they're not unique...lots of other countries have that sunshine and light colored waters and semi-tropical appeal....but USA has Americana style beaches with lighthouses that are for real sealovers like me....Maine & North Carolina, Big Sur known as the "greatest meeting of mountain and sea" that inspired beat poets, South Beach is a beautiful tropical beach that has the most beautiful people on earth, Venice Beach has the most beautiful bodies on earth...very diverse...so USA =)

Depends entirely on what you mean by 'better'. I have seen a good number of Aussie beaches, in NSW and WA, and I have been to California and Florida.
Australian beaches tend to have more granular sand more of the desert sand color, instead of some tightly compacted dirt-colored 'cakes'.
Australian beaches tend to be safer, bar any explosions of Lebanese arrogance. No drug-user needles buried like in Miami beaches.
US beaches tend to look like the scene of a mass whale beaching, due to all the Godzilla-sized elderly people who put their fat behinds on the sand. There are a few overweight beach-goers in Australia too, but nowhere near as many.

Australia is the two a continent and a rustic! i would not propose all people to circulate right here to stay.... terrrible undesirable place.... (winks slyly to the different Aussies) horrific horrific place to stay..... all people who's thinking of shifting right here ...... nahh do no longer ya wont like it in any respect....
