another ion necessary fo rthe body is iron. specifically, it is iron (II) or the ferrous ion. iron metal itself is useless the body can convert it to iron (II). likewise, iron (III) or ferric ion is the wrong ion.

its definately anemia. this is because iron is a necessary part of red blood cells which move oxygen around the body. good luck
