I wouldn't spell Rayne with a y and e, it looks to much like the spelling of skye and I would just make it Skye Rain (First and middle)

Skye is nice on it's own but not with Rayne! Sky Rain is what it sounds like!

Bloody awful in my opinion... Nothing very nice about rain unless you live in a desert...Forget about fancy names, use pretty giirly names that will be OK when they grow up.. Doesn't have to be unique, unless you are a snob.. My grand daughter has one of the loveliest names I know, possibly because she is my grand daughter,, Name suited her as a baby, and is fine as a 16 year old. Just a little different to a normal spelling... It is ROHANNE...

No. I think you are right. She will be teased. There will be plenty of teasing about other things. For years I was teased because of my last name. It hurt then and when I am reminded of it it still hurts. I'm 60 now. Children can be exceptionaly cruel. Someone mentioned Crystal or Krystal, that has a nice sound. A nice ring to it, lol.

I believe that these kind of names although unusual will sound ridicuolos in about 20 years time. I agree with another answer, leave it to celebrities to name there children these odd names! And yes it may sound a little chav in a few years.
ie Britney, Rhianna etc.

i like it im naming my daughter Skye but her last name will be knights so i dont want to add to potential teasing i think i might just get away with skye knights lol but if that wasnt my partners last name i would probably have considered skye-rayne

Cheesy! Also a bit ghetto! Sorry but I really dislike the "trying too hard" baby names, there's a girl at my school named Heaven Leigh and everyone thinks it's a joke!

It reminds me of how a Caveman would talk. it sort of states the obvious. Yes, Rain does indeed come from the Sky. It's just not a profound statement.
