Tim Tebow, he has been playing against teams like Georgia (that will make Hawaii look like a High School Team) all year. Seeing as he only has one receiver to throw to I think 3000 passing yards is fantastic.
Plus he has done something no other NCAA QB has ever done.
Chase Daniel has only played 3-4 stout defenses this year but will do well against Arkansas (they are kinda weak against the pass)
I think Tebow gets it for his dual threat capability and impressive stats with little to no support.

Tim Tebow will win it due to his dual threat of running and passing. 51 total td's this year is amazing.
Chase Daniel is good as well but he didn't come up against Oklahoma. I can't put it on just one game though he did have a great year it's a toss up. Daniel had a better record though for his team at 11-2 so that may give him a few more votes.
Dennis Dixon I've been watching him here in Oregon ever since he first started. He may have been the best player on the teams but the only problem with Dixon is he never shows for big games. He played Cal they lost because of the lack of decision making by Dixon in every big game he plays he shows it. I'm sorry there shouldn't even be any talk about Dixon being the Heisman when Tebow and Daniel had better seasons. Also McFadden would definitely be ahead of Dixon as well.

Colt Brennan, hands down.
NCAA record for most career touchdown passes (131).
NCAA record for most career touchdowns responsible for (146).
NCAA record for passing efficiency (season), posting a 186.0 mark in 2006.
Though Brennan plays in a "pass happy" run and shoot offense in Hawaii, he has proven that he can make every throw that should be in a QB'a repertoire. I can't say the same about Tebow. He has been exciting this year and has far more athleticism than Brennan, yet he won't be able to run like he does now in the NFL. Then he will have to rely on being that pocket QB and then that's where the learning begins anew.
Brennan has his hurdles though. Undersized, shotgun QB, throwing mechanics, strength of schedule, etc. But honestly, Colt should win before Tebow. 50+ TDs for Tebow? Didn't Brennan set that record for QBs last year without much praise or news coverage?
Chase Daniel is a pretty good QB as well as Brohm and Ryan of Louisville and Boston College, respectfully. Dixon for Oregon isn't a consideration at all to me.

I think Tebow is the Gators entire offense, and that is part of their problem. Chase Daniels, Colt Brennan and Graham Harrell deserve as many if not more votes than Tebow. I think Mcfadden should win it, he is something special, and was last year too. I would put it Mcfadden, Brennan, Tebow, Crabtree, Daniels, Harrell.

Tebow has had a season for the ages as a leader, rusher and passer. He is the best player in the game this season and deserves the award. June Jones did not do Brennan any favors with the late voters with the controversial comments he made as a way to make the case for him. Daniel will have a seat in New York City and Harrell should gain enough votes to get an invitation to the show, but this should be Tebow's award.

Look at the stats you posted. What QB would you want playing on YOUR team?? Without looking at the names, Id take the QB that had LESS interceptions and MORE rushing yards...838!!!! And is that 22 RUSHING TDs???
Now looking at the QBs by name and team, you can see that Tebow played a tougher schedule, went up against some great D, and is just a Sophmore.
I hate Tebow, but he deserves the Heisman. Plus, hes gonna cry if he doesnt.

Dear Child, even though the HEISMAN committees seem to have gone for mainly QB's...it isn't a QB trophy...So your question should have been which PLAYER. It is a trophy for ALLROUND PLAYER...
So With the Logic that Only QB's qualify...I chose McFadden, especially after watching Chase do the "Special Guy" meltdown at the Big 12 Championship game. Not only did the red-shirt freshman Sam Bradford look BETTER than Chase, but I was rather embarrassed watching Chase's temper tantrums, screaming at OU defenders who had the gall to tackle a "Heisman Hopeful", tried to blame his receivers for the OU picks, threw stuff on the sidelines when he went three and out...Looked like Eli Manning...
Nope, Chase is out of the chase...

Agreed Terry, and Chase picks his nose CONSTANTLY. He lost alot of votes thanks to YouTube.
By numbers alone, Colt Brennan is the guy. As "BEST OVERALL PLAYER" this guy has led the ONLY undefeated team to a BCS bowl, and history will never let us forget Hawaii's "day in the sun". Even if they played a LONG LIST OF NOBODY TEAMS, they put up numbers and got the wins. Considering each game for every player an equal opportunity to be considered for the Heismann, Brennan wins it HANDS DOWN!

My vote is for Colt Brennan. While Tebow's stats are the most impressive, stats don't mean squat if your team loses. The object of being a football player is to help your team win. Brennan is the only one of the contenders to lead his team to a BCS bowl game (not to mention an undefeated season so far).
