IT MIGHT BE BEST TO FIND OUT WHAT THEY ARE GRIEVING ABOUT BEFORE APPLYING A METHOD OF COMFORT. MANY TIMES JUST YOUR PRESENCE ALONE WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING IS VERY COMFORTING. IF YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO IS GRIEVING AND YOU VISIT THEM MAYBE IT WOULD WORK IF YOU STARTED BAWLING AND CRYING TOO AND EVEN MORE SO THAN THEY ARE . THEN THEY WOULD COME OVER AND COMFORT YOU AND TAKE THEIR MIND OFF THEIR OWN GRIEF. VERY TRICKY!!!!!!!!

There is not any way you can help a person who is grieving, sometimes you have to give the person time alone, and just talk about stuff to get her/his mind of things. You can be there but only God will help during this time of grieving!

I slap them and say, "Snap out of it"!
Nahhhhh...kidding!
I'd let them know
that I am there for them
if they need to talk.
