Life has no big 'meaning' or purpose other than procreation. We are the result of evolution, and like all other creatues our primary reason for being is to perpetuate the species.
However, our evolution has given us the power of rational thought, emotion, innovation and a level of intelligence (well most of us) that sets us apart from other species which, for example, allows us to communicate like this.
Therefore, while life has no higher meaning, it gives us choice: we have choice to live it quietly, to be adventurous, to hurt others or to help others, to be a decent moral person or a pain in the butt scumbag. I've made my choice, but reserve the right to change it!

I don't think I have found the meaning yet, sometimes I think I might be on verge of finding some at least a partial meaning, but I do know that life, to me, life is important and that suggests that it must have some meaning. If you can agree with that, then humans should make a common goal to improve the environments in which life exist and seek to change the environments that do not allow life to prosper.
I think it would serve me well, should I ever find meaning, to challenge that meaning often for to do otherwise would render it meaningless.

Life is to die. Sounds weird rite?

No matter who u are, where u are from, what religion u are, what race u are, u will inevitably die. If you are the most timid person on the earth, even if you are soooo afraid of death, you will die. If you are the bravest person God has ever created, even if you can face all of God's creation with bravery, you will eventually die. So whatever you do, even if you have achieved the highest peak of your life, you will die.

Hence death is the inevitable destinations, and the meaning of life. What is beyond death? My religion gave me an answer to this, and I strictly say that the eternal life is the meaning of my life now. What i did today will effect my life in the afterlife. So I shall try to live my life to the fullest WITHOUT neglecting the true purpose of life.. to bring the best of the best, to your after life..

but hey, this is just me..

Personally, I think there is no meaning of life.
We, us, creatures just brought ourselves in and out of this world.

I believe we have no reason to exist in the first place.

But then, that would defeat the whole point of myself to be living right now. Ugh. >_>

If the human race had an enormous impact in the galaxy -- or even universe, then it'd give life a whole new meaning.... I think.

Life is the path from birth to death. The act of living just prolongs the inevitable death. There is no meaning to it. What do we as humans accomplish that really matters in the cosmos? Or to ourselves even?
