Remember that you have a captive audience who wants to hear what you have to say, who wants to learn from you. Remember that you have something important to tell your audience. Remember that nobody's going to bite you. Wear something that makes you look good and feel good. Get a good night's sleep and have a healthy breakfast. Stand up straight and don't fidget around when your talking. You will be the center of attention. Take the center stage and just deliver your speech with confidence and authority. After all, it's you who has the information to share.

here, go to this site -

it seems really great.

i also suggest joining your school debating team. i was like you when i first did public speaking, and i threw up before i spoke and cried my eyes out. but my teacher suggested i join the debating team.

Millions of tears later my mum forced me to join it and it was the best thing i ever did to overcome my nervousness.

The vomitting stopped. the tears stopped.
i went from a D to an A.

it can really help you get use to the whole public speaking thing. and the best part - you dont get graded!

you may do debating later on in high school, and having a background knowledge, and experiencing debating will definitely have given you a head start.

good luck.
