Can we get back sales commision due to us if boss fire you 1 week before the deal is closed? Singaporean pls?

I have a friend who works in sales. He has worked on a deal for the past 6 months and customer has confirmed the deal will be done next week. However boss ask him to leave this week. Thus he will not get the commission. What recourse does he have to get the commission that is rightfully his? He works in singapore.

Any one has such experiences or possible solutions?

Just ask him to speak to his ex-boss. If he can prove that the deal is due to his hard work and the boss still refuses, ask your friend to complain to MOM (Ministry of Manpower).
