Definitely not! There are so many ways to make a good grilled cheese sandwich that it may be a universal food item. Even if I could give up the standard cheddar variety, I couldn't give up hot hammies and cheese, nor a good quesadilla - which is essentially grilled cheese.
My husband's family calls them "Cheese Dreams" because of how much they like them. I have a hard time calling them by their proper name because they are kind of dreamy, cheesy, gooey delicious.

Then what would I do without my grilled cheese maker? I love them so much I'd probably lose some weight if I quit eating my grilled cheese sandwiches.
