Yes. I feel safe. I feel powerful but not because of guns.

Right now I have 6 rifles and a hand gun in my house. In my bedroom, none the less. (that's where the gun cabinet is) I do not feel powerful. I do feel safe though, but it's because of where I live, not the guns. They're not even loaded. A blind guy could shoot me before I could get the cabinet unlocked and get my rifle loaded.

I had a riffle for decades - used it once to rid my property of a large rat; after traps failed. The gun just hung around. At best it would lead to trouble. I am a lousy lover but a worst hunter- never felt better owning a gun - but I do feel better having got rid of it

a gun make a person feel safe.. because you know you can take a life with it.. to defend your own... in my house i got the best military surplus arms around... bazookas missile launchers .hand gernads and assault machine guns .. and my Amy tank sitting out side beside my MiG -14 fighter jet and under my house there is a missile silo with a nuclear weapon supplied by the united states government i rent if for 19.99 a month

a,gun...son this is Alaska ..take a shower with two of em ..got a few gun safes full of them...always feel powerful and safe ...guns got little to do with it...confidence does.

No gun in the house, I chose to carry a stun gun instead. Don't feel powerful, feel safer . You can never be completely sate, especially w/a weapon, it could be used against you.

My husband has a firearms licence so...yes.
They're nothing to do with me so I can't my hands on them - which is a good thing really. I may feel safe but not exactly powerful!
