make you change your mind about liking him or her if the pic wasnt what you expected?
like if you thought the person was an average person and you found out that they are beautiful or handsome
or if you thought the person was attractive and come to find out that they are kind of drabby and bland looking.
would any of these facts make you feel differently about that person and make you not answer or answer their questions a bit differently?

Well that would all depend on your relationship with that person. Were you talking to one another because of a common interest like work and get pointers or were you more of an intimate type of relationship that you find yourself attracted to them on some levels? In the first case, it shouldn't really matter because it was never about looks, just a good conversation. But of course for the second one, which I'm guessing it was leaning a little more to this side, it can affect your outlook a little bit. After all, its not beyond possibility for someone to be attracted to another person for liking who that person is, but appearance is always a big deal in any relationship. Doesn't make us vein, just human. There has to be at least some level of physical attraction for a romantic relationship to work.
So, what I'm trying to say is, if you like this person as a friend, then what they look like shouldn't matter. If you feel more for them, ask yourself if you like them enough to give it a shot, and if not, theres nothing wrong with just being friends with one another.

I already know my contacts and like most of them. A picture can't change their personality. I already know things about some of my contacts that would make others drop them as contacts and I still have them.
The only thing a picture would do for me... I'd be saying " So, that is what he/ she looks like." That is it. Besides, I have probably seen worse already. Nothing really surprises or shocks me. lol

looks arent important, we shoudnt judge people on how they look...i understand what you are saying but i dont think how you see some1 who has become a "faceless online friend" changes when you find out what they look like for real! I think because you have already got to know the person, (their personality!!) well, then it will not change when you see a picture of them!! x

Maybe the contact lives near me but i didn't ask because i was only looking for "contacts"
not friends or anything more.
If someone you treat as a friend and have a good laugh with turns out to be sexy, who wouldn't want to get to know them a little better!

If i had been talking to someone quite awhile before i saw their pic online I would act just the same as before, because I already liked them. The picture would not matter.
If I had just started talking to someone and saw their picture it may change how I respond to their answers.

NOPE! It would not change my mind at all. In my opinion no one in the world is ugly, we are all different, we are all beautiful, God would never make anyone ugly!
