Rome, it lasted 2100 years and still affects the world today. Languages, roads, expansion. Come back in the year 3000 and we can see how the USA did.

Rome, it had things that we didnt discover until the 17th and 18th century. They had indoor plumming and things that still amaze us even today. They had the greatest military, education, culture, influence and length of domination. The USA was built to last, but I don't think any of us will be around to see if it lasts longer than that.

aztec ,Inca, Maya They invented the calander and mapped the solar system over 2,000 years ago that scinctist today are just now discovering that they were or are more accurat than our own. they built roads, temples and pyraminds long before the romans or egyptains did. their lands covered both south and north america. They were educated and their influence and culture still exists today. Some of their descents weren't "discovered" untill the 1920's

i would have to say roman before Julius Caesar changed it. it was a very good democracy and they were able to keep control of all the lands in the area. they were masters of building and the roads they created are still used to this day. if only they had learned how to use steam power by the greeks they would have changed a lot more in this world.

Mesopotamia, if you can consider them at all. Only because they were the first (known) civilization. They influenced life as we know it. Were it not for their civilization, Rome, England, USA, everybody else wouldn't have been the same. Maybe not have even existed.
