Watch the ANC-WR Video on Youtube...Los Angeles, CA - A video documenting the achievements of the Armenian National Committee - Western Region (ANC-WR) has been posted on www.youtube.com. This video may be subject to censorship by the Turkish government because it includes numerous references to the Armenian Genocide. According to Eurasia Daily Monitor, a new set of Turkish government regulations may criminalize access to websites and internet content that does not conform to government-approved standards. The article goes on to state that these latest restrictions certainly are not in keeping with the openness and transparency required by the European Union.

"From denying the genocide to censoring our youtube videos, we see the same pattern of the Turkish government seeking to subvert freedom of expression and twist historical facts," stated Andrew Kzirian Executive Director of the ANC-WR.

I am very shocked to see that someone here agrees with Turkey.

I am sure they must understand that if the truth threatens a entire country then making the truth disappear is not going to solve anything.

One of the advantages of freedom of speech is that for those of us who are not afraid to stand up to Turkey may and for those who are not will hide behind laws like article 301.

I think that the Turkish Government toked a right decision by doing this. If they are threaten by something they take stand. The video may be subject to censorship because it includes numerous references to the Armenian Genocide, and incriminate Turkey.
