What matters most to me is the philosophical sense and the subtle thoughts i get from the answerer. The sincerity and the respect it gives to the person asking. It must also have a good insight and wisdom.
Thanks for asking. Have a great day!

The first thing I look for is whether the response answers the question, whether I would feel informed. Too many people just like to hear themselves talk, others may have an answer, but do not polish their response so their answer is not as useful as it could have been.
The second thing I look is whether the answer reflects insight, or experience. Often, we can get answers to our own questions if we stop and think. In this case, answers merely would save effort, not a bad thing. Still, the most significant questions are those we already tried to answer, and we cannot figure out on our own. A proper answer would require either a background the asker does not have, or an insight (an observation of reality not known to everybody, but obviously correct once pointed out.) Such questions are asked here, and I can almost feel the asker is not really expecting an answer, but goes ahead anyway because there is nothing lost by asking. I am pleased when somebody got such an answer, when their lives are a little better because of information. To me, those are the most valuable answers.

I like 1 and 2 for answering you. And that is what I look for also. If someone wrote something I would have said I just add on to it without copying their answer. As long as the way they worded it matches your expectation then that's great. If not just get the next best thing.

Something that provokes thought and feeling. A poetic play of semantics. Something reasonable, something irrational. Something relatable, another way to understand.

Answer should reflect clarity of thought and expression, depth and soundness of logic, insightful understanding and objective balance of mind.

not so much of qualities.. as long as it directly or indirectly hit and answer the point of argumentation, sounds good enough for me..
