Although I've tried both and have gone back to XP Pro on everything a better OS is the Linux, its free. You can either download it as Ubuntu or have them mail you a free disk that you can put onto as many computers as you want, FREE. Vista had/has a lot of compatability issues and have to buy new software as well as hardware that is Vista compatible. People have had to buy new printers, virus programs, burning software and so much more with Vista. This can be costly. Next time I have to install, I'm installing Ubuntu 7.10. It is now a proven OS and is FREE.

i take advantage of vista and there is relatively no issues as long as you replace homestead windows at the instant and function good antivirus spyware ---- > as with something of homestead windows. the only challenge ppl have with vista is that its no longer backwards properly suited including your older application/hardware so till its a very enormous product or is enormously new youre probably gonna could desire to enhance your stuff. additionally while it is composed of vista and XP in case you attempt to purchase a working laptop or laptop with XP youre going to be paying greater effective than you need to for a working laptop or laptop with crappy specs while in comparison with vista. If youre procuring a sparkling laptop circulate with vista because of the fact its the destiny and XP is going to be supported much less and much less vs vista this is getting a provider %. in early 2008

XP - I've heard from too many tech savvy people that Vista has compatibility and privacy issues.

Vista is better as long as you get the 64 bit... 32 bit is just plain lame.
