Dances With Wolves is another film where the main character is white. It's a long time ago I watched it. All I still know is that I found it unrealistic and didn't like it very much.
And I meant movies about the situation of native americans TODAY. If possible made by native americans themselves and from their point of view.

Battle at wounded creek. Last of mohichans. Dances with wovles. Hidalgo. Also theirs was an Native american that dieded in predator which was funny to watch.

Dream keeper is really good. Also look for the Oka Crisis of 1990. Its a really heart wrenching story. And its more of a documentary.

"Bury my Heart at Wounded Knee". The book is outstanding.
