I failed to mention we already have a 2 year old, and well, I didn't get the chance to be creative since my mother was with me when I found out (husband was on a business trip) and she called everyone on our side before I got the chance too, and when I told my hubby he told his parents LOL. This time I want it to be a suprise!!

Have a family/friends dinner and a place setting for the baby. Put a jar of baby food there with a baby bottle, baby silverware, and leave the seat empty. Watch everyone's reactions!

I'm assuming its to announce it to the daddy to be......
buy him a little baseball/fishing rod (whatever his hobby is) and wrap it up and write, "I can't wait to play/go _______with you daddy, from baby surname" on a card
send him flowers at work with a card attach with the writing "congrats daddy to be" from mummy to be!!
make him a 'baby' dinner...baby back ribs, baby potatoes, baby carrots, baby corn and serve on little plates and see if her twigs.
Buy some diapers and singlets and fold them along side his clothes in his drawers.
Wrap up the pregnancy test and give it to him.
Get some lipstick, eyeline or marker and get someone to write on your tummy "Baby on board". When you go to get undressed for bed later, make a point of doing it in front of him. He'll get the gist pretty quickly.
Hope that gives you some ideas.
If you are announcing it to your family, like your parents, then I would wrap up the pregnancy test in a little box along with a picture from your first ultrasound (if you can wait till then, it depends when you have one) and give it to them for christmas (along with a proper present too!). If you need to do the same thing for a couple of people then tell them you need it back so you can re-wrap it for his parents etc...they'll get a laugh out of that!!
best of luck

I loved the idea Becky had (from the show Full House) when she played pictionary with Jesse, her husband, and drew a bunch of baby stuff to get him to the idea. :)

Gather everyone for a family picture with you and have your husband take the picture. Instead of "Everyone say cheese!" he can say, "Everyone say _______ is pregnant!"
OR, let your 2 y/o wear a shirt that says big-sister or big-brother.

Well, it all depends who you telling and when.
If its your husband--, cook him a delicious meal, and just simply say,"I'm pregnant"!
If its your boyfriend; its a different story, because most boyfriends hate their girlfriend to be pregnant with all the child support and marriage and drama. So, all u getta say to him is "we must get married, before I deliver this baby".
If your are lesbian and your husband is a woman --it doesn't matter how u tell her --cuz she never work for that baby anyway --its another man's sperm. so just tell her, u have another man's baby in you.
