punch a pillow, scream into a pillow, skate, drink, smoke (you decide!), party, talk it out w/ a close freind or relative, bottle it up and push it down, lash out on someone, go for a drive, jam out to music, write my feelings down, play games,... do something/anything to get my mind off the situations, analyze the stressful situation and try to come up w/ a solution.

i do alot of things.. there is no right answer to this question!! people handle stress differently!

Close your eyes and go somewhere peaceful in your mind. Somewhere you always feel calm when you are there. I like to go to a place where I live called Valley Falls. The water crashes over the rocks with such force that it looks like soap suds in the water. I imagine my problems going over the waterfalls one at a time and crashing at the bottom. No problem could survive that crash. I do that until I am relaxed. Sometimes I just listen to soft classical music.

Deep breathing, talking to someone close to you that you trust. Or you could always go someplace away from people and just relax.
