It's hard to say... for me success would be feeling content where one is in life... I am not content where I am right now, so no, I am not measuring my to my standards...

I think success is what your goal was and if you met it or how close you came to it, and you measure up to your own standards by being happy with what you accomplished.

I think, there is no measurement for success, like how many dollars you have in your bank account, or how many cars in your garage, for me, its how happy you are and contented with what you have. Its achieving what you really dream of. Finding a decent job, or finishing a bachelor degree, winning the girl/boy you want to be with... I think those achievements, really means success

I agree with both answers. Meeting your goals and how happy you are should be the best measurements of success.

I measure mine by how content I am with what I have. I don't own much, but I am still very happy. I enjoy my life, kids and the people that are around me.

I don't. My own standards for myself are much higher to measure up to than anybody elses.

I found when I was most successful my life was truly a misery, stress and pressure to do even better threatened my health.
I took a step back jacked it all in, started a new less stressful occupation, and brought out my inner happiness again.

I think most people always think they could do better or accomplish more. I am pretty satisfied with my own success. I'm not Donald Trump, but I don't want to be either. He has his problems and I have mine.
