People now are saying "The refs were helping the Patriots." And that's not even stupid, know nothing fans... it's coming from PRO PLAYERS! That's right... the Ravens themselves said they want an investigation because they believe there is this huge conspiracy to help the Patriots win a fourth superbowl. Uh huh. Really? That is not only sad...it's just plain stupid. Instead of looking at yourselves and trying to fix what you could of done better you become a conspiracy theorist and take zero blame... that's nice, you still didn't win the game. Even if you should of... you didn't, sorry. And also... the NFL loves the Patriots all of sudden? You mean the NFL that handed down the heftiest fine EVER for violating the rules. That NFL? The Patriots have been nothing but TRASHED this year by everyone and their mom, I don't think anyone is helping them but themselves. There were questionable calls against the Pats in the beginning of the game, nobody talks about that though.

Only the drive that cost the Ravens the game... and that drive and those penalties are a direct effect from being extremely undisciplined. I mean... when you have the HEAD COACH blowing kisses to Rodney Harrison... there is something SERIOUSLY lacking on that team which looks like it stems from the coach. Anyway... the Patriots are 12-0 if you want to accept it or not... the play the Steelers next week... maybe they win, maybe they lose. Just let it be... because being a whacko fan doesn't change the outcome of the game... only the players do, despite what you think otherwise.

It seems like people are divided into two primary camps: Those who hate because they're soulless and defective, and those who (wrongly) think this is a team that can't be stopped and will inevitably win the SB. The media is dominated with the latter in an effort to keep ratings up.

The number of gals and guys who just appreciate watching a good team seems too small. I hated watching the Pats lose the AFC last year, but also felt that Peyton and the Colts deserved their time in the SB sun after so many attempts for such a good team. Give props when they're due, and anyone who feels compelled to say "cheaters" or put asterisks anywhere are clowns who don't have an opinion worth reading among them.

Anyway, there's no conspiracy. Dollars to doughnuts the same people claim to be UFO abductees ...

OMG I read the story on Yahoo and laughed my butt off at the stupidity of the Player interviewed!!! I think the official at NFL are probably laughing their asses off too as they investigate.

First off they were complaining cause the officials were talking down to them. The player said, "the Ref started calling me boy, after I told him, he has never played football before!!"
Now why would you tell a Ref you have never played football before just out of the blue!! There was much more said from the player "Rolle".
The sad fact was indeed the Ref had played football before.
Rolle didn't feel he should be called a boy because he is married and has two children!!!
As for a bad call also in the Story Rolle again didn't Think that in a game of that magnitude you don't make calls that. I guess Rolle wants the bad sportmenship calls for only certain games. Somebody needs to give that "Boy" an NFL rule guide so he knows there are no exceptions for certain games when it comes to the rules.

If the Ravens want to complain about the officiating, they better be careful. The officials let them bash, hold, and practically tackle the Patriots' receivers all night. If they want to complain about a bad call, let them complain to their own defensive coordinator for calling time out as they stopped the Patriots drive, only to give the Patriots a second and third chance and then letting Brady run 12 yards for a first down. When you are a former Super Bowl team and you are 4-8, it might be easy to cast blame at the Patriots, the officials, the NFL, space aliens, whatever. A coach like Bill Bellichik would make them blame themselves. I guaranty you he made the Patriots aware of all their faults, and they won.

Its a probable scenario. Money talks. These conspiracies could go in circle for days. I mean you could argue that the fines and bad calls were all part of a preconceived plan to allow for plausible deny-ability. I would like to imagine a better NFL than that.

Like an opportunist politician, I guess you could say I don't want there to be any kind of shady crap going on in the NFL like that, but it is business, and although they get paid millions, everyone you see on the field is little more than pawns in a big money making scheme.

Bottom line is, I hate the Patriots with every inch of my body, the very sight of the team makes me want to go and deface public property.

Quit b!tching about everyone hating the Patriots, because they're winning. Who gives a flying fvck, really? It all makes for good entertainment, and lets face it, people averting their hate to the Patriots for what they are doing is probably keeping some trailer park wife out of intensive care.

it seems ur just another pats fan trying to defend ur team. but i do disagree with the notion of the NFL trying to let the pats go undefeated.. the guy who made the comment was obviously very upset and things just flew off his mind. but i do question that interference call at the end, ..the ravens should get on the refs and not the league. And by the way what did u want billick to do when harrison talked smack to him? flip him off?
