The Taco Bueno's I've been to here in N. Texas have been pretty good. I don't go to them alot, but no complaints so far.

Considering the fact that I have been extremely sick since yesterday evening from eating Taco Bueno, I don't think I'll ever be eating there again.

Better than Taco Bell, Del Taco and others of that ilk, they finally opened two in Lubbock about a year before I moved away.

in my opinion taco bueno blows taco bell out of the water..
in exchange their prices are a bit higher but nothing like qdoba or chipotle..
their food actually has a taste to it..
and seems much fresher also..
