The chicken. That's the only answer that makes sense...think about it! When an egg isn't hatched yet, it will die if the chicken doesn't sit on it to keep it warm. No mama chicken, no baby chickens. God didn't create Adam as an egg either...that would not have worked out well for the propagation of humanity.

Because of evolution, there would have been a time when there was no chickens but, say, "mutant chickens" which are not "chickens". There would have been a time when the first chicken was born, this chicken would have come from an egg, but that egg would not of come from a chicken but rather a "mutant chicken"
Or, if ur religious, chicken because it would be considered that God/Brahman/Allah etc. would have made that first

the correct answer will be the chicken, because if u read the bible god made animals so he made the chicken first then the egg. he wouldnt of done the egg first then it wouldnt be an animal and just a plain egg that is waiting to be an animal. so it was the CHICKEN!!

Ok im going to go with the chicken becuse a chicken has to produce the egg in its body then lay it.
If the egg came first then how did it get there,,?

The chicken! God didn't make the egg first! He made the chicken able to reproduce...which means obviously the egg comes 2nd.
