yes, pop in general isn't good, empty calories and all, but as far as soda goes in general, Sprite and 7up are the best, and they're safe to drink while pregnant.

Keep in mind you're suppose to be getting 64 oz of water every 8 hrs :)

Go Diet Sprite, avoiding the sugar, and you can then drink as much of it as you want. Drink lots of bottled water to go with it. All your organs and the baby's organs have to work harder to process the sugar, and in dark colas filter the coloring agents via the kidneys, liver etcetera.

Good luck!

sprite is okay to drink especially if you have morning sickness. just make sure it isnt diet. something in diet drinks babies cant handle. just try not to drink to much. water, milk, or juice would be a better choice.

Yes I drank litres of it when I had my baby this year. It's true that the sugar is not good especially if you are at risk for gestational diabetes or if you're prone to thrush. Alternate it with water and milk and you will be fine.

You can have it so long as you aren't gaining too much weight. I actually don't normally drink soda but need it to help settle my stomach while pregnant.

No, it's not bad. Water or juice would be a healthier choice of course, but you're not doing any harm.

I'd worry about your sugar intake above all but other than that, it can help with morning sickness
