better question is will they hire you
btw, i doubt any law, including anti disability, will protect you from the employer's decision to take your history and potential consequences into account when hiring. they can easily justify it as your condition failing to satisfy "job-related requirements." they have a duty of care to whoever they are protecting and do not want a suit for negligent hiring etc.

Normally, one's medical history is their own business; exceptions come in when current medical conditions can affect both the job and safety (of the employees or others).
Albeit true that ALL legitimate employers CLAIM to be "non-discriminatory", you can believe they and their HR department are (or should be, anyway) well schooled in hiring pratices that ARE discriminatory; good luck proving so in court.
Would YOU hire YOU, given you're being treated for depression? Would it be safe to assume a private security service employer might question liability and safety issues knowingly hiring someone being treated for clinical depression......??? Understand matters from the employer angle....and you'll come up w/ your own answer.

Only a Doctor or a Shrink can answer that Question. Most states will not if you admit it.
