No, because after a while, I just don't care. I usually end up saying, "who cares?" But my thoughts don't really keep me up. It don't help to worry about anything. If you can do something about it, do it, if you can't, worrying won't help you do anything about it either, so just forget about it.

Too late for that I'm afraid! o: And why wouldn't I be awake with all the shouting going on in there?! Why won't my brain switch off.

I am prone to 'Intrusive thoughts' and driven to analysis. These thoughts are literally starting to merge with my own thoughts, the two together, becoming indistinguishable...

Night and day... refusing to leave me in peace ---

For example, just a moment ago, I was pondering possible designs for the Shopping Cart of the future! Fascinating for trolley toting enthusiasts, but really...would a insane person lose sleep over this ?

Where the heck did that one come from...shopping trolleys?! Better than the last one I guess - i was contemplating (forcibly so..) the availability of sprout-free potatoes (ya know the curly vine like things sprouting from an unpeeled Spud? Can't stand\d to think about it. Revolting! o:

Aha.........yeah, that little ''rest'' at the "Funny Farm for Freaks" may be called for after all...been there 11 times so far...this year! They distribute little yellow pills, that stop the ruminating thoughts from going around and around, like a whirl-wind in my mind.

It's either that, OR, volunteer to get my brain fried, allowing the Psychiatrist to sign me up for ECT (Electric Convulsive Therapy) No intrusive thought could possibly survive this kind of jolt-age! The idea is to shock me into the realm of Sanity.

I only hope the little sanity I may have left, will be spared....some cognitive function would be appreciated. I don't want to end up completely brain dead.The ability to think rationally is what I'm aiming for with this procedure.

Three cheers for Sanity!

~~~GRACE : )
It is like you are reading my mind with this question! I haven't been able to sleep because of all these thoughts and dreams that keep me up... maybe it is a all a sign that I am starting to go insane.
Only if I can't eventually act on the desires that creep into my thoughts.
No more so than the thoughts that make me sleep during the day.
I don't let it bother me much though. Sometimes I can be pretty strong.
Who I was or whatever happened last time does not determine who I am today.
