Hypothetically speaking, you see someone to who is very unapproachable, who can't make any friends, who is bitter and jaded, who hates the world, who is lonely, who feels dead but still breathes. What do you say to him/her? What would you say if they were so arrogant they claimed they didn't need your pity, or you? What would you do if they were lonely, but they were afraid? Would you pity them knowing that even having you pity them was enough to drive them insane? This person fears the flame in the hearts of others. They are gonna freeze to death soon, but they fear being burned. How do you talk to something like that? What advice would you offer them? Hurry, their heart is already starting to ice over!!

it's not written by me but i want to know what other people would say :)

A tortured soul that wants to be loved.
Someone who is so desperate for attention, that they fear it when they have it. Someone who pushes others away for fear of being rejected. Wanting to speak but unable to.

This requires much attention to detail and patience to see it through. To begin with, worry not about their heart icing over, for it can always be thawed. You would have to get the person to open up. Be a friend, have conversations, discussions, build the trust. Don't talk about anything personal as this person is closely guarded and any attempt will push them away.

Over time, when the friendship develops this person will open up and will change their way of thinking.

Someone like this will not change overnight.

They have to come to their own realizations of what they need - an epiphany. Sooner or later people will figure out what works for them - and it's different from one person to the next. Some people find happiness within themselves, but others look for it externally in other people, objects or events.

You can't solve someone else's problems or "fix" them. They have to figure it out for themselves. So I guess I'd just say "good luck!"

wow. That's kind of hard to answer, as it is me.
but I guess I'm in denial of a lot of things.
so I guess for me, the question is , what would you say to me?
