yes you can control when and who's mind to read. however, if you are listening in on somebody's thoughts...intentionally...and you find out something you don't want to find out...how fun would that be?

Of course I would have to become a psychologist and write books for the benefit of humanity. So, in the sense that I would gain fantastic knowledge about people and how the mind works, it would be a blessing, but it would be a curse in terms of personal enjoyment.

a curse and a gift at the same time, although, i wouldn't want to hear the stupid things that people think, i mean what if i found out that my friend hates me, or that my boyfriend is cheating on me

well, it depends. if i can choose when i wanna read minds, n who's mind i wanna read, then gift. if not, then a curse, cuz i would never be able to rest, 4 i would be reading minds all day.
