Spend some more and get a Mac. Or, spen aome more and get a PC laptop but install Linux - Ubuntu on it. Really, don't buy a laptop based on price. You have to base your decision on the specs.

I LOVE all Dell products- we have 5 dell computers- they have superb support teams and their prices are in your budget- besides, you may want to wait until AFTER christmas because they may have an after christmas sale--check out their web site- again.....they are a name brand not to be reckoned with- after all, that's ALL they do--is computers.

u can get a laptop from wal mart for bout 400 bucks that can do all that. its an off bran, i forget the name.

I dont know how much they cost, if your not doing HARD gaming then you can also check out the panisonic and HP laptops.
