Are you normally regular? If so, I would not worry about it. There are so many factors that can affect a menstration cycle (stress, diet, etc) and it's not abnormal to be off by a few days or to skip a cycle.

Has your diet been different lately? Did you start a new job? Fight with your boyfriend? Worried about money? All those factors can affect your body and throw your cycle off whack.

If you are normally irregular (for more than 6 months), go to a gynecologist. They can put you on birth control which will regulate your cycle.

DONT WORRY. It's totally normal :)

My periods are like that all the time, and I'm 32. I go through months are regular periods, then months of irregular periods where it's so light it's barely spotting, or it's extremely heavy.

While there's not one reason to pinpoint as to why it's off, your period can be effected by stress, schedule changes, physical activity, and many other reasons. If you're really worried, you can talk to your doctor, but you probably don't have anything to worry about. I would recommend though, have a supply of pads or pantyliners on hand for the next few days or a week, just in case.

That's happened to me before. Sometimes, your menstruation cycle doesn't always follow a strict monthly routine, especially if there's outside influences (such as if you or someone around is taking birth control pills).
