My name is Ryan F. As of right now I am aiming at Business Management and Marketing. I am a senior in high school and taking community college courses. Signing up for next semesters courses is a challenge as I am still looking where to apply. At the moment I am trying to take all UC transferable classes as it seems like the smart thing to do.

Why? = I need to know where to apply so I can see the classes I need to take and if I would be able to get a head start now.

Knowledge? = Little. I'm glad I have chosen my desired areas but need some help in
1) What to be looking for (getting involved in).
2) What I need to plan for and will need (course wise).

The college website is dvc.edu; I was suggested as a follow up to Introduction to Business to take an accounting class possibly, business communications, and a class in excel spreadsheets (all suggested by the teacher). Please help =D I currently just have google/assist.org (unlimited funding if good grades/accepted/in cali).

This is really hard to answer, because I don't know what you are qualified for (I'm a Marketing professor in California, so I do know the schools here in that area pretty well). GPA? SAT? Do you have a preference between Northern and Southern California?

The best undergraduate business school in California is UC Berkeley, but they are very exclusive and elite. That leaves you with the Cal States and the private schools. Among CSUs, there are several that are quite good. In Marketing, I like Chico, San Francisco, San Jose State, both Cal Polys, Fullerton, and San Diego State right now. Then there are decent private schools. In the North, you have USF, Santa Clara, and the University of the Pacific. Further south, there are Loyola Marymount, Chapman, and the University of San Diego.

You might want to use the College Board's website (www.collegeboard.com) to find some good matches for your qualifications. Use the "College Matchmaker" feature, and you can put in your statistics and preferences to get back information about schools which meet your criteria and which you might get into. You can then go onto their websites to get an initial view of the schools before visiting a few that sound good to you.

If you are trying to transfer to a UC I would suggest Berkeley, the Haas School of Business, is the best in the UC system, but very, very difficult to get into.
If you want a private I would suggest USC, Marshall School of Business.
Here is a tip, get the transferable course list for both USC and Berkeley from your Community College, there are a lot of similar classes that you can choose from that will transfer to both of them.

nicely, an excellent style of human beings imagine Californians are extraordinary. i imagine, to human beings in different parts of the rustic, the stereotypical Californian might want to be an somewhat liberal, tree hugging, vegan who eats in basic terms organic and organic foodstuff. i do not propose this to be rude, yet this is how human beings stereotype you. human beings do not often imagine of you as indignant or rude, yet human beings do imagine of the wealthy Californians (as in Hollywood) as stuck up.
